OUGD402 - Studio Brief 02 - Self Branding

In this task I simply brainstormed things about myself and words I would use to describe myself in order to start forming a personal identity which I could start to brand for myself. So initially I created a mind map, or spider diagram, of words I would use to describe myself, the way I work, my style of work and personality traits.

After a while I began translating this into the style of work I could see myself producing in the future and compared it to the work I had already produced and work that I like. From this I created a new mind map, this time more about the opportunities of work I would like to take on as a designer and deciding what areas would suit me the most. I came to the conclusion I would work for more organic companies and work with an illustrative style but keeping to my precise personality. 

This then helped me determine a style and identity which when asking peers and the tutor I managed to determine my style similar to that of the distinguished gentleman. So I began to create a pin board on this style On Pinterest. This is just a starting point and I will continue to add pins and create mood boards to help me create a personal identity.
