This presentation reflected on my personal experience of university to date. I constructed a presentation that demonstrated what I had personally learnt about myself whilst undergoing practice in and out of the studio.
To begin with, I focussed on what happened before I came to university, where I was focussed on coming to Leeds, which meant a lot to me. This created the focus of my presentation, which was my motivation. During the last year of sixth form I worked hard on getting into university. But when I got here, at the start of the course, I lost my motivation and I had no drive because I didn't know what I wanted after the three years of university. However, i've reached the stage where i've found an ambition in film. I am passionate about film and it's the industry I want to go into when I finish the course. Now that i've found an ambition I feel driven and will work hard towards this.
It was interesting to hear feedback on my own experience as well. After my presentation I gave time for people to ask questions and discuss my experience with me. I even received advice, such as what designers to look into that create props for films.
It was also intriguing to listen to other peoples experiences and how they presented themselves. I witnessed a variety of themes within everyone else presentations and a variety of topics.
