OUGD502 - Studio Brief 01 - Personal Presentation

The second half of Brief 01 involved reflecting on my experience with this module, in my own practice and my engagement with professional practice outside of this course. Since my first year reflection, I have identified clearly that I want to have an involvement in the film industry, and this is still my biggest ambition of graphic design. I have learnt more than I realised I could learn whilst on this degree, and my skills are more refined after 2nd year. I have learnt more about the industry I will be involved in and I have done my best to interact with the professional industry.

The reflection of my strategy was presented in a small group and it focussed on my relationship with professionals and studios, how their input has had an effect on my work and professionals and studios who I will get in touch with over the next few weeks. I also reflected on my interaction with exhibitions and events and how much it has given me the opportunity to network. I then focussed more on my work, what I have learnt about my own practice, how my practice has been involved in the professional industry and what I would like to achieve in my final year.

I always find this kind of task constructive, so that I can see what I have achieved and consider what my next steps should be to achieve what I am aiming for.
