OUGD602 - Spectrecom Films Placement Week 2

I felt a lot more comfortable in the studio environment in the second week. I started by writing another digital marketing update which involved research into recent news.

I also started research into charity giving platforms, as the company are trying to initiate a discussion and compare the value of each different platform.

I also was given the task to restructure a page on their site giving me more experience being an admin on Wordpress: www.spectrecom.co.uk/our-services/creative/

At the end of the week Andre gave me some advice on SEO (search engine optimisation) that I can take forward in my own site. It is incredibly useful to know about ways to make my own site more accessible and how I can monitor its traffic. He suggested using tools such as SEO Quake, Vid IQ and Keyword Planner. This is information I can take forward for all sites I manage.

It was a good experience to understand the ins and outs of a larger studio. It made me realise what areas of the industry that I want to work into and I would be happy to work in London.
